DRDO scientist entry test & interview experiance

Defense research and development organization DRDO was conducting yearly test and interview for selecting Engineering graduates in CS, Electronics and Mechanical.

As the author I was attended test 4 times and cleared the test 3 times and not passed through the interview for that 3 years.

when i go through the test 3 times i had noted some repeating patterns of questions, the following are the order of importance to study for passing the exam....

1, Theory of computation Computability, complexity analysis ( important since others may ignore it and only few will answer it correctly so opportunity to score above others)

2, Compilers and system programming( language processors ,lex anlsis, etc) ( important since because of the same reason as above

3, algorithm design and problems different methods  for algorithms....(important since if u studied definitly you have a chance to beat the averages)

4, Computer architecture, pipe-lining etc....

try to understand and know the basics of these first and study it well it will help you go more....

of course the others OS,DS,Digital, and other in the syllabus also important but it will be under standable by average people easily so don't avoid them any way i know that all have somewhat basics about these subjects....

so I also gone in this way and the three times i cleared for the interview...

first time it was at ADE bangalore and the next two time also at bangalore.

first time iwas went there the same year iam passing out...

there was 6 persons in the interview pannel except one person other all asked me questions.

they asked me to explain the project in a display board provided...

one person was surprisingly supportive whenever i feel i am nervous. They asked me to tell interesting subject i told microprocessors. they asked root questions on it.

interview was ok but I was not selected......

the next two

also there was 5 to 6 members i remember.. they are also asked about interesting subjects  and asked questions on it. so make sure that the subject you telling is thoroughly studied. please also don't be nervous  like me...be cool and answer after hearing questions and after thinking don't tell immediately.

for all who are trying for DRDO i wish you all success

my dream will not happen since my age limit is now over...so best of luck guys....
