Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities Ltd — Coaching programmes to the students belonging to the economically/Financially backward sections among the forward communities of Kerala in Medical/Engineering examinations and in Government/Banking sector
Via Gov Order G.0.(Ms) No. 219/2013/GAD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 19.07.2013Government has approved two schemes proposed by the Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communitie Ltd and there is a good opertunity for the economically backward communities through this scheme. the two schemes are as follows.
Scheme - I : Providing financial assistance @ 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to 500 students/applicants for pursuing entrance oriented coaching programmes in the field of Medical/Engineering courses at an estimated cost of 75 lakh8.
Scheme - 2 : Providing financial assistance @ 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to 500 students/applicants for pursuing coaching programmes in Banking service recruitment examinations and Public Service Commission examinations at an estimated cost of 25 lakhs
Administrative Sanction to the schemes are subject to the following conditions.
1. Beneficiaries for coaching programmes for Bank/PSC will also include candidates for UPSC exams.
2. Annual family income of applicants should be limited to Z 3 laths.
3. Preference in awarding assistance will be given to applicants belonging to lowest income.
4. The feedback of the schemes (ie, evaluation of the performance of the students selected for coaching programmes and the number of candidates who got selection in various courses/jobs in Banks/Selection by KPSC/UPSC) should be monitored and recorded.
