Research/Project Work : Opportunity for Professional Students at KTIL (KERALA TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED) | ||
Kerala, globally known as Gods
Own Country is the only Tourism Superbrand. Kerala was selected by the
National Geographic Traveller as one of the 50 destinations of a
lifetime and one of the thirteen paradises in the world. Kerala
registers remarkable growth rates in Tourism, substantiating the World
Travel and Tourism Council's forecast that it would see the highest
growth rate in the world, ie., 11.6%, in this decade. This remarkable
growth has also created an infrastructure gap in various tourism
amenities, resulting in a disparity in supply and demand. TRKL is
working towards creating various investment, development and partnership
models like Public Private Partnership (PPP) Models to address this
issue and to catalyse growth.
TRKL offers assistance
to students of professional courses to get involved with the development
of Kerala Tourism by undertaking Tourism based research/ project work
as part of their academic curriculum. Professional students undergoing
courses in Tourism Studies, Management, Architecture etc from premier
institutions in India can participate. TRKL will assist, guide and
facilitate the selected students in conducting the research/ project
work with respect to projects/sites at various destinations in Kerala.
Interested students may contact through mail/phone. E -mail : office@trkl.in, Phone: 0471 2336233
